Humility

At Visitext, we create art with elements from our original content. Photography dating back to late 1800’d. Today, we run our business paperless, but we have not forgotten our roots, a humble reminder of where we started.

Box > Open > Recycle > UNLIMT yourself

I never gave my brain a chance to breathe…
I remember watching an influencer that had talked about how taking a shower, is not the place to be planning your day.  It should be a time devoted to clearing your mind.  A cleansing of the soul.  Not for me, I was always looking inside the ‘box’, trying to control things that were not mine to control.
The road less traveled is worthy of walking.  My ‘third’ life had become a box.  I had accomplished a “bountiful” living with my husband. We had arrived!
No worries about money, great careers, free to spend recklessly, and for me, I was MISERABLE. I had every MATERIAL ‘thing’ I ever wanted, and I was not happy. I was not pleased with the person that I had become. I had forgotten that my wellbeing, family, and friends, were the most important things in my life.
The hardest part of my third life was the daily routine. I literally could predict how my day would go.  Maybe it was not a prediction, I think it may have been my desire to control everything? Either way, I was stuck in a box limiting myself, while looking out at the world, wishing I was somewhere else.

Discover Saint Kitts & Nevis

Kitts and Nevis are not your typical Caribbean islands. People are not in a rush to figure things out, or in a hurry to leave dinner. Here it is best to relax and enjoy yourself. The islands are rich with history. It’s not all rainbows, butterflies, and tree frogs.

‘The Three Must Knows,’

WATER is the most valuable resource on the island. If you do not have water, you will die OR pass out. Well, maybe not die but don’t catch yourself without water.

SUNSCREEN is a necessity. Saint Kitts sits 80 degrees above the equator. YOU WILL BURN HERE. I don’t care how long you have been here, where you are from, everyone needs sunscreen. Except of course the natives. Seriously though, they need it just as much as us. However, natives don’t tend to enjoy the sun, as much as the typical tourist, they have it all year long.

BUG SPRAY is a necessity. When the mosquitoes down here bite you, you can feel the after effect. You get a sore that boules and there is not much you can do for it. For lack of a better word, they suck.

There is an energy here that can’t be captured. Maybe that is why so many people come from all over the world to vacation here. In my opinion, a dreamers paradise.

Kitts and Nevis should be on your bucket list! I love the untouched beaches; you can pack a picnic, and find a secluded beach to enjoy a meal. TREE FROGS, FIREFLIES, BUTTERFLIES, MONKEYS, DONKEYS, GOATS, AND WILD SHEEP! ALL YEAR LONG.
